It is a sign of a lack of confidence!

Exactly! Many won't understand that, though; they're largely rudimentary thinkers and thus somewhat easy to manipulate - which is exactly what the current administration is doing.

Well, if that is your analogy I'm not to try to convince you otherwise but I will say this. At least Obama and his administration is honest. Unlike Bush and his dysfunctional Administration who outright lied to the Americans on numerous occasions. Don't make me list them as Bush gave us 8 years worth of fodder.

Show me where Obama himself has taken on a talk show host.

They are crying everytime someone criticizes them. Limbaugh, Santelli, now Cheney. I believe Cramer was another (not sure though)

But I do agree with you on Cheney though.

Jimmy "I don't think there is torturing going on, I know it is going on" Carter changed all that!

In today's world, every accusation that goes unchallenged is viewed as being true even if it's total nonsense; see birth certificate, communist, marxist, socialist, gay threads about Obama, etc. Allowing those things to fester with the wingnut media is never a good thing. Obama is smart to let his surrogates handle his dirty work. Gibbs did a great job during the campaign totally destroying Hannity and he's doing fine today. Cheney, in breaking with tradition coupled with his overall mongering doesn't deserve an ounce of respect or latitude. I hope the administration leading this country continues to assert itself.

Cheney gets no pass for being a former VP. Remember it was the BUSH White House that went after Jimmy Carter and called him "sad" and "irrelevant".

Cheney is doing what he's always done, played the fear card. It used to be "vote for us or you'll die", now it's devolved into "you voted for Obama, now you'll die".

As far as I'm concerned Cheney gets no privileges that any other unindicted co-conspirator gets. Back under your rock, Dick.

Yes, Clinton and Carter both did that so well...lol. It is traditional that past presidents and vice presidents do not say much after they leave office, but Carter and Clinton forgot that. You have not heard Bush say one word since leaving office about the current administration and if so, please post the proof.

Has anyone ever seen more utter incompetence in the press sec position? I mean, come on libs this was a pure redneck type attack and you know how much you hate rednecks. Anyone got the rights to: "American idol takes over the White House 2009"

I'll be glad when the administation get's off the Rush bandwagon.

Little too high schoolish for my tastes.
