So, what you're saying is that dysfunctional families exist only in socialist countries (which, by the way, does not include the UK). Because families like this don't exist in a capitalist system (like the U.S). Hence, this family is proof of "what socialism does to people." Does that about cover it?

Socialist policies does this to people. It promotes a general sense of laziness and entitlement.
These people should get a good kick in the ass, have their benefits eliminated and you will see how quickly they will start looking for jobs. While these losers are sitting at home, watching TV and eating potato chips everyday, there are people waking up in the morning and going to work everyday to support their lazy asses. You forgot to directly insert the word capitalist between evil and pigs.
Too late, have you seen some of the welfare families in this country? That story doesn't have anything on them. Of course "The Biggest Looser" is about as bad, seems to glorify gluttony and sloth.
