That is why the GOP has become such a fringe party. Hopefully the true conservatives will take their party back from the neocons.

It was only a matter of time till the RWnuts returned to their paranoid conspiracy theories. Bitter loners clinging to guns, religion and black helicopters. They have nothing else to cling on...

I agree. The 'neoconservative' movement is not conservatism, it's a movement founded by Jewish communists who support liberal domestic policies yet support strong military policy externally (chiefly for a Middle East policy supporting the goals and aims of the Jewish state).

Hopefully, one day soon, the Republican party will be turn back towards actual conservative policies... a balanced budget, lower taxes, protecting the homeland rather than war-aims of other countries, etc..

To quote Irving Kristol (father of Bill Kristol) on neoconservatism: “to convert the Republican party, and American conservatism in general, against their respective wills, into a new kind of conservative politics suitable to governing a modern democracy.”

Irving Kristol is considered the 'godfather' of the neo-con movement. Furthermore, he has a daughter which works for AIPAC... go figure.

You know there are some who view neo con as an anti-semetic code word. I wonder why?
