I agree. The 'neoconservative' movement is not conservatism, it's a movement founded by Jewish communists who support liberal domestic policies yet support strong military policy externally (chiefly for a Middle East policy supporting the goals and aims of the Jewish state).
Hopefully, one day soon, the Republican party will be turn back towards actual conservative policies... a balanced budget, lower taxes, protecting the homeland rather than war-aims of other countries, etc..
To quote Irving Kristol (father of Bill Kristol) on neoconservatism: “to convert the Republican party, and American conservatism in general, against their respective wills, into a new kind of conservative politics suitable to governing a modern democracy.”
Irving Kristol is considered the 'godfather' of the neo-con movement. Furthermore, he has a daughter which works for AIPAC... go figure.
