Ah, and as usual, the name calling begins. By regulations, do you mean the 20,000 gun laws we already have in place? Or do we need a couple of thousand more? Get real, gun control does not work. never has...never will.

Thank you, you just showed your total ignorance on this subject. Federal law ,which includes gun shows, bar a felon from owning any firearm. Educate yourself.

Thank you again. You have shown your ignorance on just about evey level. You are dismissed.

One class for a pre-teen isn't enough. Every single time he and his father (or any other adult) were shooting, safety should have been stressed.

I remember my first time deer hunting when I was in the 2nd grade. The deer looked HUGE but my father dropped him with a single shot from a .30-30. I was fascinated with seeing what a bullet could do to flesh when I watched them field dress that and other deer that day.

Either the parents failed with training or with keeping the guns secure. You have to know if your kid can handle the responsibility. The kid didn't respect the parent's rules. Finally, the kid could have been a young psycho. No matter what the reason, the parents need to be punished as well.

This is a common belief that has been perpetrated by Hollywood. In real life, it's extremely difficult to hit a moving target in an extremity. Center of mass is hard enough under the tremendous stress of a shooting. It just doesn't happen on purpose in real life.

Funny how you don't view folks attending an alcoholics annonymous meeting as sincerely trying to take responsibility for themselves. See your bias here? Responsibility is the point, and sometimes life does require us to use deadly force. It's rare relative to the population, but necessary at times.

Doesn't happen. There's a reason that the use of a firearm is labeled "deadly force." If you're aiming the gun at a person and pulling the trigger, the intent is to kill them, period. It doesn't always happen, but that is the assumed outcome, in every case.
