What do you see for America in 2050?

A few thoughts....
Electric or alternative energy cars.
25-35% of Americans will be Hispanic.
Freedom of speech restricted.

The language of the land will be Spanish.
I wonder if the white minority will be treated fairly.

I see myself being dead in 2050 (or 93 years old, we'll see what happens.)

The Hispanic population is growing, so I agree with that. Energy sources will probably be different, but who knows what will be discovered in that time period.

Why do you think freedom of speech will be restricted?

I can agree with two of your suggestions but I think that the major means of travel may be horses and your own leg power. That is where people of the anti-Bush thinking want us to go isn't it?

I think that freedom of speech may well be limited by 2012 so surely it will be by 2050.

25%-35% of population of Panama and Costa Rica will be white and black Americans. The exodus of retirees has already begun.

I'd be 98 in 2050, so if I'm still around, and if I can still see, I suspect that anything I see - and understand - will be just fine with me.

I agree we are seeing hints at limiting freedom of speech now...

It started with the PC stuff in the 90's and has happened on a..
Limited basis in Europe.(Bridget Bardot for Example).
Being critical or saying something un-popular will probably land you..
In prison at some point.
