Kewl, but alas, they're not my leaders. I'm just watching the two parties do what they do best and always have.

I'm a card carrying Libertarian. I'd prefer they all be sent packing. Each other for all I care.

Oh yes, I'm sure they burned quite a bit of midnight oil thinking that one up! And evidently not taking much of a long view, since name calling on that level (which is what it amounts to) can come back to haunt.

I agree that people are a huge part of the problem. the average voter knows nothing about the issues. hard to have blind faith in leaders elected by the average american. go over to youtube and look at the comment section under the latest horrible R&B song abusing auto-tune.

wen i cee peepole makin cmnts lik dis, it dont giv me hi hopes fo da futr.

As for the individual not going to Iraq, unfortunately, far too many individuals agreed with the policy, too many individuals bought into the party of individualism demanded blind allegiance to group think.

Dude we are humans as such we are genetically imprinted to be social animals, as a result we organize ourselves into social groups, be it family, tribe, nation state, nation and ultimately the world. In order to survive, as a species, we require government whether they are parents, chiefs, kings, or presidents. The great thing about this particular government is that it serves at the pleasure of the people, if government is the problem, then it is the people which are the problem because my boyyo, they are one in the same.

I know what you meant. I got my card 2 years ago.
Many laugh at the Libertarian party but you mock what you do not understand. They rather watch the Government and the powers that be gain more and more power. they rather have one party in charge then have many views represented in a multi party system. Basically they are communists socialists or whatever the **** you want to call them!

At least the Republican party has decided to move into the 21st century with this decision.
Except the US already has a small political party of that name.

See thats just it.. most of the countries problems were CAUSED by government and would be much better letting them resolve themself.. I'd much rather Republicans sit in a room wasting time changing "Democrats" to "Socialist Democrats" then coming up with government programs to further enslave or legislate the citizens..

GOP shelves resolution labeling Dems 'socialists'

PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, Md. -- Republican National Committee members on Wednesday seriously tempered language labeling national Democrats a "socialist" party, shelving a proposal that could have caused the GOP embarrassment.

Actually, about the smartest thing the GOP has done for the last decade...
