Surely you're being facetious. I'm just thinking...you can't post that in all seriousness, not after...well, how many other posters on this forum & how many posts are of that very same nature, but directed at liberals? Hmmm....very strange indeed.

Thats cool--I may be alot of things, but I will never demand someone be silenced no matter how much i hate what they are saying. Freedom of speech is one of the most cherished rights we have.

"Ignorance," just another tool in the conservative box.

Seriously - you just had a radio host arrested for death threats. Homophobia and immigrant-bashing are staples. You can deny it all you want - but it doesn't do much for your integrity.

You do know that a liberal talk show host was arrested for distributing kiddie porn..should we then attribute all Liberal talkers to the same thing?

I say good for her and I wish her luck; since hate sells these days she may have a smaller audience than some conservative hosts.

The Fairness Doctrine. It's an empty threat. No one has even come close to introducing a bill that would reinstate the Fairness Doctrine.

It's too bad that these same people who claim to be in favor of free speech had no problem with the Bush Administration prosecuting adult pornographers.

Maybe if you can find more than one. And maybe if you can link kiddie porn distribution to being a liberal (it's not a long-standing characteristic, unlike the ones I pointed to for conservatives).

Overcome those hurdles, if you can, then go for it.

Yes, I know the fairness doctrine. It says there should be opposing points of view. It's weird, but why are conservatives opposed to that? As a liberal, I have no problem w/someone else coming on a show & giving their opposite view. I hear a lot of screaming on this forum from conservatives about free speech & stifling of views, yet when you give it to them, they bellow "unfair". I simply am baffled by that.

I know. I don't get it either. Although I don't think I would support the Fairness Doctrine, I don't understand the panic. No one is seriously trying to reintroduce the law, and even if they did, it says nothing about silencing conservative opinions.

Maybe someone here can explain why the Fairness Doctrine is such a threat to them.
