Truth is, if the south is fatter than the north it isn't by much. This thread is therefore not funny and rather pointless. Americans are 2/3 overweight and that is appalling no matter which corner of the country you call home. Lack of exercise and reliance on convenience foods laden with empty calories is the main reason.

because they drink thier coke, while others like the president, snort it.

Because we have great food and it's too stinkin hot to go outside and jog!
