OBAMA IS SURPRISED THAT THE MILITARY WANTS THE GOVERNMENT TO CONTINUE
TO PROVIDE MEDICAL CARE FOR THEIR WAR WOUNDS.....

HERE IS HIS RESPONSE WHEN HE BACKED OFF FROM HIS PROPOSAL TO MAKE THE
MILITARY PAY FOR THEIR OWN WAR INJURIES.........WHAT A EMPTY HEADED
PERSON HE MUST BE....

SEND THIS TO EVERYONE TO SHOW JUST WHAT HE THINKS OF OUR MILITARY WHO
FIGHT FOR OUR COUNTRY AND GET HURT PROTECTING OUR FREEDOM!!!

Bad press, including major mockery of the plan by comedian Jon
Stewart, led to President Obama abandoning his proposal to require
veterans to carry their own private health insurance - to cover the
estimated $540 million annual cost to the federal government of
treatment for injuries to military personnel received during their
tours on active duty.

The President admitted that he was puzzled by the magnitude of the
opposition to his proposal.
"Look, it's an all volunteer force," Obama complained...
"Nobody made these guys go to war.. They had to have known and
accepted the risks. Now they whine about bearing the costs of their
choice? It doesn't compute...”

"I thought these were people who were proud to sacrifice for their
country," Obama continued. "I wasn't asking for blood, just money.
With the country facing the worst financial crisis in its history, I'd
have thought that the patriotic thing to do would be to try to help
reduce the nation's deficit. I guess I underestimated the selfishness
of some of my fellow Americans."

Huh?? He wants wounded soldiers to buy their own health insurance for
combat wounds, while he spends (so far) more than the entire debt of
the United States since it won independence from England !
Now he wants to tax your health benefits and ration all medical care
and medicines for everyone - except Congress and Presidential staff -
to reduce the exorbitant cost of his socialized medicine ("free" for
everyone) to the government.

This is old news and Obama has self-corrected himself after people were enraged that he thought that way... apparently it wasn't a very good idea...

This chain e-mail contains fabricated quotes and misrepresents a budget idea that the White House scrapped.

FactCheck.org: Did Obama accuse veterans of "selfishness" and whining? Would he have forced them to "pay for their war injuries"? (http://www.factcheck.org/askfactcheck/did_obama_accuse_veterans_of_selfishness_and.html - broken link)

Sorry but this is from a chain email that has NO basis in fact. The quotes are made up.

Moreover the proposal was to bill private insurance companies for veterans injuries connected to war service, something that's already done for non-service injuries. The proposal was not going to make veterans pay for their for their own treatment or to buy insurance if they didn't already have it.

Next time, do a little research before posting your right-wing lies.

LoL, just another way to polarize people against some one they don't like.

If there isn't any real propaganda to emotionally charge the issue, just make crap up.

Go ahead and pass it around just like the liberals did with Sarah Palin. I have come to the conclusion that you must fight fire with fire.

While it is not hussein obama's words exactly, it is the jest of what he was proposing. It was written to show how rediculous this man is.

Purposely spreading lies makes you what? A republican?
Got it.
