I never thought it was. A staff would be needful for the First Lady of the US - no doubt about it.

But why the fluctuation of numbers? I remember someone earlier in the thread saying Jackie O had over 40 --- why? It should be a set number and if the FL (no matter what party her dh is) feels she needs more then it ought to come from her own personal funds.

I (we) don't know. Perhaps it's a good research project for someone with lots of time on their hands. I gues that would be any one of us who posts on the forum

You may be right about Hillary Clinton not coming up - but I do distinctly remember the other first ladies mentioned.
now that i'm looking back at the thread, i mistook this one for the now-locked one of the exact same name that was posted yesterday. oops!

Default First Lady pays attendants very well

First Lady requires more than twenty attendants

Canada free press has the payroll for the first lady and her 21 attendants.

This couldn't have been added to the other thread about the first lady and her staff?

This is a duplicate thread and it's already been established that Laura Bush and Hillary Clinton had similar staffs. Yawn.

The blogs must be slow these days if the same topic keeps popping up.
