Please explain to us why no old white guy was ever asked for this kind of "proof" before President Obama's election. Why is this being demanded of the first black man elected president? Coincidence?

I see you have been sleeping at the wheel, or were just so mesmerized with 0bama that you didn't notice. McCain was challenged to all hell about ALL of his records, school, BC, everything by the left and HE SHOWED IT ALL unlike 0bama.
I dont think you birthers *would* be satisfied actually, no matter what. In what form could it be shown to you so that you would be satisfied? If th eoriginal was placed in your hands so you could touch see smell taste it, doctors' signatures, ink paper seal stamps all in order, wouldnt you just shrug it off and come up with some kind of proof of how easy it is to fake these things? If some justice you all trust on the Supreme Court said it was examined and according to him (or say all the right leaning justices) it was legitimate, would you believe then?
Be honest -- what proof honestly would convince you birthers? Sincerely Id very much like to know.
The legitmate docs. You know, like the ones that you need to get a driver's license? That short form of Live Birth he came up with would be rejected at your local DMV.
Some say that the Left is not using any logic when dealing with the accusations from the Right when it comes to the BC accusation, so then why is it not ONE of those from the Right that have jumped on the BC bandwagon ever bother to answer one question, based on logic, that I and others have asked. If the BC of Oboma is a real issue then why hasn't the GOP been persueing it, why haven't the GOP leadership called for a fullinvestigation of the matter? The answer is obvious to anyone thinking logically, so that means some just refuse to admit it. This issue is not going away any time soon, the far right will see to that, propaganda is the name of the game these days, sadly some have actually bought the lie. Face it, Obama is not going to be removed from office because of this accusation. It is obvious that Obama has satisfied those in the government that count with whatever proof that was required, meaning a valid BC proving his qualifications. The ball is in the court of those making such accusations, provide proof that he is not qualified or move on with life, those are the choices left, making unfounded accusations just makes the accuser look foolish or worse yet delusional. Move on with life there are more pressing issues at hand.

You know, its always the left that are most obsessed with this and go apoplectic responding to anything that pops up in the news about this. This makes you wonder if at some level they aren't wondering themselves that it may be true and are very much afraid it may be true. That's the impression I get from the most outspoken opponents of this questioning of Obama's legitimacy on these boards.

People will want to believe whatever it is they want to believe.
I believe that the problem lies with people who floated the idea in the first place. The Republican election machine did this, and they knew he was a citizen. They just wanted to start a little controversy about Mr. Obama, in order to pull a few votes their way.
It *is* interesting the history of this phenomenon.
