you are entitled to your opinion, but I am kind of an insider in this case. it was a psychopath. that's all you really need to know.

They weren't members of militias. They were white supremacists among other things. Many white supremacists were (and still are) attracted to the idea of being armed and trained. Some of them started their own armed groups and attempted to infiltrate militia groups (but weren't welcome). But it's totally seperate. The militia movement was (and is) really a libertarian leaning movement. McVeigh was influenced most by the Turner Diaries. He thought he was going to make them come to life. Waco enraged McVeigh and militia members but many were enraged and wanted revenge or justice, most of whom were not involved with militias at all. The SPLC (southern poverty law center) tried to portray the militia movement as racist and attempted to associate OKC and the militia movement in people's minds but everyone who has researched and investigated it, including the FBI, has dismissed that theory.

Like Al Qaeda affiliates, who are completely unrelated to the group, but receive their general target (the west) and propaganda from that group, all these men received their propaganda and general target (the federal government) from extremist sources like the "Turner Diaries."

I shall pose one final question if it is just a psychopath then why is Terry Nichols in the supermax and why did Michael Fortier get 8 years on a 10+ year sentence?

That is true, however, they were associated with Michigan area militias and during those militia meetings revenge for Waco was brought up. that is what I stated was it not.

Eco-terrorists are organized but, in general, not any more so then the extremist anti-choice group The Army of God. As to terrorism, there are a lot of reasons people commit terrorist acts with various end goals, but regardless it is still terrorism.

there aren't a lot of reasons. terrorism is to advance a political agenda. nothing more. granted the political agenda might be different, but it's always political.
