Here we go again, same thing different location. Change and Hope!

Several senior U.S. officials said the administration is eyeing a soon-to-be-shuttered state maximum security prison in Michigan and the 134-year-old military penitentiary at Fort Leavenworth, Kan., as possible locations for a heavily guarded site to hold the 229 suspected al-Qaida, Taliban and foreign fighters now jailed at the Guantanamo Bay detention camp in Cuba.

I don't know about the prison in Michigan but Leavenworth is more than capable of holding these folks. Lets get them here!

The old US Disciplinary Barracks is an ancient run down relic that was condemned and a new facility was built. It would be a horrible place to work for the guards. A fitting place for the prisoners.

I escorted a bunch of prisoners there back in my day.

Agreed. Why we need to bring them to America is beyond me except that it would be one more campaign promise broken. Seems pretty foolish just to keep a campaign promise.

I've said this from the begining. Classify them as POWs then you can hold them, without hearings until the war is over. You can't torture them and they have to get their Red Cross Visits but this mess has been a prime example of what happens when you involve Lawyers in something simple.

Kiska is American soil and Sarah can watch them from her back porch

Not only should Camp Delta be closed but that whole bas should have been closed decades ago. The land belongs to Cuba and they have made it clear many times that they would like to have their land back.
