Fortunately for those of us that love this country and cherish our freedom, the average American is not the weak minded simpleton that falls at the feet of the community organizer. We will email, write, march and protest...then we will vote.
Of course not, but doesn't it get very crowded at the feet of Limbaugh, Hannity, and Beck? Hard to find any room there?

I dont know where you live but the government isnt involved in every aspect of my life.

He is asking that rumors be reported so they can be countered. Never did they ask for names.

White House's Call For Informants: If You Oppose Obamacare, Even in ‘Casual Conversation,’ the White House Wants to Know About It

From the White House website: The White House - Blog Post - Facts Are Stubborn Things

There is a lot of disinformation about health insurance reform out there, spanning from control of personal finances to end of life care. These rumors often travel just below the surface via chain emails or through casual conversation. Since we can’t keep track of all of them here at the White House, we’re asking for your help. If you get an email or see something on the web about health insurance reform that seems fishy, send it to flag@whitehouse.gov
I write my congressman, my senator and the white house all the time (and have for the last 40 years). and ask questions. (and with some, get answers or good explanations)

So what is the problem?

You'd rather have "your source" of information being the only source no matter if it is right or wrong?

Sounds like another conservative in communist clothing.(or would it be communist in conservative clothing?)

Yes I did read these so called consumer protections.!! did you read them!!!
It is amazing the type of complete idiots you must think we are.
I didn't say they would go away via Obama's plan, I am just saying your employer will remove them and phase them out. Obama does not protect the person from the employer and new choice of paying the higher prices via private insurance and government cost for new taxes. Which is what the government wants and what Obama wants. In a sense if I am employed, have private insurance and or my employer offers it I will be punishedin a higher cost then what I am paying now because of the extra taxes. They asin the "socialist" aren't stupid enough to saying private insurance will go away, or your choice of doctor etc. They make it seem like you will always have the option to PAY EXTRA for private insurance as long as you pay the taxes to cover the uninsured. So if your medical cost aren't high enough now you will also be paying taxes to the government so they can play socialism gods to the masses.
Why in the hell would someone pay for private insurance and then have to pay heavy taxes for the government insurance they aren't using. Let alone a system that I'm sure will be broke and or have no idea what in the hell they are doing on running it. Also what is to keep the employer from just dropping the private insurance as a benefit where am I protected as a individual before the government stepped in and created this new program. Companies view medical, dental etc as a employee benefit not a right. Most everyone who has private insurance is threw a discounted rate that the corporation or company picks up and major portion of the tab. I mean think about it corporations have no reason to keep it covering you, companies already are spending millions on health care costs with insurance plans. Mostly the small businesses who currently are offering it probably will drop it and say tell the employees to use the government insurance since they are "paying into it". So tell me where I am wrong in concluding this. So below are the eight protections.. Where am I protected from the employer dropping its insurance programs all together? Believe me they will and if republican doesn't do it a democrat will let them do whatever they want because government will be the safety net from the "evil" companies. I also don't blame the business world because they are making business decisions and it make economic sense for them. So here corporations who have been protecting their employees for years and giving them good medical benefits sometimes for free are set up to be the bad guys. Also, the government wants people on the government system it is the socialist design and Europe designed health care system. Of which they all just love so much.
If it doesn't happen now it will happen once the national health care in place within a few years.

These are from Obamas plan you can just go here or read below.
Health Insurance Consumer Protections
  • No Discrimination for Pre-Existing Conditions
  • Insurance companies will be prohibited from refusing you coverage because of your medical history.
  • No Exorbitant Out-of-Pocket Expenses, Deductibles or Co-Pays
  • Insurance companies will have to abide by yearly caps on how much they can charge for out-of-pocket expenses.
  • No Cost-Sharing for Preventive Care
  • Insurance companies must fully cover, without charge, regular checkups and tests that help you prevent illness, such as mammograms or eye and foot exams for diabetics.
  • No Dropping of Coverage for Seriously Ill
  • Insurance companies will be prohibited from dropping or watering down insurance coverage for those who become seriously ill.
  • No Gender Discrimination
  • Insurance companies will be prohibited from charging you more because of your gender.
  • No Annual or Lifetime Caps on Coverage
  • Insurance companies will be prevented from placing annual or lifetime caps on the coverage you receive.
  • Extended Coverage for Young Adults
  • Children would continue to be eligible for family coverage through the age of 26.
  • Guaranteed Insurance Renewal
  • Insurance companies will be required to renew any policy as long as the policyholder pays their premium in full. Insurance companies won't be allowed to refuse renewal because someone became sick.

I think everyone misses the bigger point. The First Amendment gives us a right to Freedom of Speech. I believe that reporting "fishy" websites and emails is not appropriate or right. People have been told time and again that the Internet does not necessarily have correct or accurate information. Also, if you forward an email the White House is able to track back to who it came from originally. This is all very outrageous. Does Obama plan on prosecuting everyone for defamation of character? He is the President. It is expected that people will disagree with your views and policies.

Noam Chomsky states that: "If you believe in freedom of speech, you believe in freedom of speech for views you don't like."

So you think the private insurance companies are going to grow tomatoes when Universal Coverage takes effect?

They are going to lower their rates and increase their coverage, or they will have to find a new growth venture to rape the public.
(Can anyone say water rights). But that would take decades.

Easier for them to change. (you know all that market based pricing stuff)

Then why doesn't the "Administration" just ask ME what I am saying instead of asking YOU what I am saying?

I think Hitler started out the same way!!!!! "Tell ME what YOUR neighbor is saying"
