Yup that pretty much is the sentiment of most in this country right now.
No, actually, it's the sentiment of a minority in the country. The same folks who were--curiously--absolutely silent about Bush's governmental invasion into the lives of Americans. They're just parroting the talking points of people like Beck and Hannity. They have no idea what they're talking about.
These are many of the same people who WANT the guvmint to stick its nose INTO your bedroom and decide who you can marry and who you cannot, and to deny you reproductive services too while they're at it. Now, out the OTHER SIDE of their mouths, they want guvmint "out of the way." Out of the way of what? Out of the way on lynching more blacks and gays? Or shipping more jobs overseas? Or hiring more illegals?

It's funny seeing all of those senior citizens cheering.
The must have forgotten they are on Medicare
Ya. I feel bad for those older people who are being scared by the lies. Unfortunately the only way to clear things up is to have discussion, which people are trying to prevent because they know some people will change their minds.

The must have forgotten they are on Medicare
Exactly. And they might want to educate themselves about the fact that the GOP mounted a campaign against the creation of Medicare, as well.
