I'm almost sadden by many of the individuals on these threads who expect or rely on the government as their way of life. Even more, I'm confused by the lack of knowledge about how our government was founded or their total acceptance of the federal government taking over household or state obligations that they are not allowed to take over (unconstitutional) in exchange for a check..

Americas problem isnt a lack of ability to be self sufficient, its the lack of wanting to, and thats just pathetic..

At $16 dollars a pop I expect the administration could filter money through ACORN who could use some of their lists to gift unfortunates with memberships and restore AARP's bogus standing as representing older Americans and lining up behind the president. The healthcare issue is not the only objectionable feature of AARP although I guess it is the one that has caused its membership to do something to get their attention.

Default Make Republicans MAD For Only $16!

You can really cause heartache to the Republicans by joining the AARP for a mere $16! I joined 3 months ago and signed my wife up too! And you do NOT have to be any age to join as an Associate Member!

you couldve donated that $32 to charity to help a homeless man woman or child in your city to buy a pair of shoes, soap, toothpaste, underwear or even diapers.

He's acting like a greedy liberal, only wanting to help out if the "charity" can be enforced at gunpoint.

it does not cost that much to make a liberal mad as hell, all you have to do is to tell the truth.
