Are they just now figuring this out???

WASHINGTON – Frustrated liberals have a question for President Barack Obama and Democratic lawmakers: Isn't it time the other guys gave a little ground on health care? What's the point of a bipartisan bill, they ask, if we're making all the concessions?

-- They created Obamacare behind closed doors, bussed in their Far Left supporters to town hall meetings and now they are ready to ram it down America's throat, too!

Seems like all republican arguments are about what "will" happen. As opposed to what is happening or has happened.

I am not a liberal but I decided that if the Democrats wanted Health Care Reform then Single Payer, Medicare, was the way to go. If you can take the Insurance Companies and Lawyers out of the mix you might get what you want. Now it has become a monster, 1000 pages of bull that make no sense at all.
As far as I can see without reform Medicare is doomed, Dick Armey and Steve Forbes are insuring that.
I don't support a Public option, it's Single Payer or nothing. I can live without Medicare and Sociaal Security

I swear to goodness that it seems like the Democrats forget that they won. They are certainly forgetting WHY they won. WE WANTED CHANGE.

We have to start somewhere. I want single payer as bad as anybody but it is too radical to expect to change a whole system overnight! We will have to evolve over time into single payer hopefully. If we can do Public Option and we can get maybe 20% of the people into it and it is ran well and is cost effective, more Americans will see that it is a good idea and they will want to move that way.

This left-leaning Independent is tired of feeling disenfranchised by both parties.
