How much are you willing to pay? What is affordable to you. If I said "I don't want a Mercedes to be free, I just want it affordable", what would you think?

One of the fundamental problems is that good care is expensive. We have some of the best care in the world. It costs money. Tell us how much you are willing to pay. Quantify it. How many dollars are you willing to spend each month on health care. Thanks.

Maybe people who don't want Obama care can take care of themselves just fine. Ie dont run to the doctor with every damn problem, have some savings, and only buy catastrophic coverage.

I have no idea how this has anything to do with my post... but I'll bite. You want to accuse people of theft instead of having an economy level public option? Making a point is more important than sick people getting health care? I guess parents that send their children to public school should be accused of theft too...

Well, you said that people accuse liberals of wanting stuff for free. I said that people wanting me to pay for their health insurance are wanting something for free. Some people call that theft.

And all taxation is theft. Otherwise they wouldn't have to put you in jail for not paying. Or do you know people that voluntarily give their mobney to the IRS?

If Obama wanted a public option then he should go ahead. No one is stopping him except other democrats.

Why doesn't he just expand Medicaid? Is that the one for poor people? Why add a public option? We already have one. Just expand Medicaid. We even have government built hosptials. We call them VA Hosptials. All he has to do is propose and expansion of Medicaid to do what it is supposed to and provide medical care for the poor. We probably wouldn't even need to build to many hospitals. We already have bunches of them.

People think he is trying to put everyone on the public "option" because he keeps talking about how evil insurance companies are. And how they deny coverage and such. Why shouldn't people think he is trying to take them over or put them out of business. If they are as bad as he says then they should be out of business.

Maybe if the Democrats would stop talking about how evil insurance companies are they could convince people they weren't attempting to take them over.
