Look, it's even worse today. 51. So Gallup seems to be following Rasmussen, who has obama at 49%.
What in the world could be making it go down?
Perhaps obama golfing and living the liberal elitist life when he just put out his adjusted budget/deficit numbers?
I suppose we don't have to remind some of what the press and the left thought of bush golfing in a time of crisis - we remember that, don't we?
Are you invoking Bush? No fair changing the rules in the middle of the game.
Well, okay, I'll play.
"His aides, knowing his stubborn side, do not press him to cut short his 25-day holiday, even though some believe that it would be more appropriate if Mr. Bush returned to Washington for more than brief visits, as he was to on Sunday.
...''It looks horrible,'' one Bush adviser said of the scenes of the President fishing and golfing and running, juxtaposed with others of frightened families of the Americans detained in Iraq and Kuwait and the frightened families of troops leaving for the Middle East."
Instead of worrying about Obama's standings in the polls, you would do well to figure out how and where you are going to find a viable candidate to run against him. I don't see one on the horizon at the moment.
Remember, too, that Bush had fallen in the polls in 2004 and managed to finally win an election honestly in spite of it. Obama will be a two-termer.
Still haven't seen anyone tackle this one. Surely someone has an idea?
Since the celebrators here won't read anything as right as Rasmussen lets say that 49% are for him and 51% against him on Rasmussen. Surely 49 is pretty close to 54 so they won't have to totally howl at Rasmussen.
I love the -11 and don't think he will make it back to positive numbers just by taking a 10 day vacation.
