I don't see how you could be happy with the current state of affairs, unless you are a bank CEO or CEO of government funded companies like Haliburton.

Lies and Empty Promises? Right-Wingers?

Are you sure you didn't mean to say Obama? He's the only person that's spouted lies and empty promises in recent months.

You're right - the fascists delivered on their promise to bankrupt this country and pile up millions of corpses.

True. Their aim was to destroy this country and decimate the middle class. Had McCain been elected, their mission would have been sealed. Fortunately, he wasn't. Still, they were able to carry out their agenda to the extent I am not sure that ANYONE - including Barack Obama - can fix things.

I voted for President Obama. I am somewhat disappointed in that he continues to play nice. The right wing are scoundrels and will stomp on anyone who gets in their way. Time for the Dems to learn from them. I want to see Obama crush them at this point and ram through healthcare reform. This is THE CHANCE in my lifetime. If it doesn't get done now, it won't.

It's tough when you have to try and fix 8 years of neo-con incompetance.

I implore you to expand upon your claim that the GOP's aim was to decimate the middle-class.

I look forward to some inkling of truth to back up this assertion. On what merits do you have to support your claim?

We'll be waiting.

Yeah, and eight years of teeth knashing for me. I am relatively still ok financially, except the damage done by the neocons has plunged me into a depression I haven't quite been able to shake. I was so overcome with emotion to watch the inauguration I literally developed physical symptoms.

At any rate, it is what it is and I hope the Democrats grow a pair, do what is the RIGHT THING TO DO at this point - pull out of the ME altogether and start taking care of us at home.

Look around. Go visit the homeless shelters like I did last week. Look at the foreclosures. Look at the deficit Bush racked up, spending like a drunken sailor. Obama has merely tried to reverse the damage, but as I said, it might be past the point of no return.

8 years huh? Nice try. Everyone prospered under Bush, especially Liberals who thought it was a good idea to give illegal aliens $600,000 home loans for someone who makes minimum wage. Thank you Barney Franks and Shelia Jackson Lee
