Reel what the hell does this mean???? I'm a small government libertarian and I have yet to encounter any of these "America Has woken up" people discussing anything remotely resembling limited government.
FACT MOST OF THE WEALTH REDISTRIBUTION THAT THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT ENGAGES IN GOES TO ELDERLY INDIVIDUALS AND I HAVE YET TO HEAR ONE OF THESE SLEEPING GIANTS ADDRESS THIS ISSUE!!!!!!
UNTIL THEY ADDRESS THE BENEFITS OF THEIR MOVEMENT TO YOUNGER INTELLIGENT SMALL GOVERNMENT PEOPLE LIKE MYSELF, I CONSIDER THEM TO BE THE LOWEST LEVEL CREATURES IN THE UNITED STATES WORSE THAN ANY COMMUNIST OR DICTATOR.
It is because of their ignorance i have started to question and actually look at the FEDERAL GOVERNMENTS actual expenditures and surprisingly most of the wealth transfer currently does not benefit me, but it mostly benefits individuals over 60 years of age! (SOCIAL SECURITY AND MEDICARE/MEDICAID)- If they address these issues and honestly start to talk about them, then I'll take them seriously, but as far as i can tell and i don't have any empirical evidence to back this up, but it seems like (the majority of them not all) only goal is the ouster of President Obama (largely due to his race - again my opinion i have no empirical evidence, but the more they talk the more it is becoming apparent, they have no clue what limited government is or any want for anything remotely resembling it)

Most of middle America is speaking up against the out of control spending and big government tendencies of both parties. If you are not seeing it you are sleeping.

The current administration is struggling to pass any bills. The czars have limited power and can only influence policy change. It's Congress who rubber stamps any changes to laws.
Not everything the president and his administration does, requires the approval of the congress. 0bama can appoint, fire and direct the actions of many people without needing the consent of congress or the people.

Ringwise just basic common sense if these individuals had fully paid for the benefits they are receiving from these programs we wouldn't have the problems we are with the programs. They also wouldn't be called Social Programs and there would be no reason for government to run them.

Yea Reel exactly the idiots miss the point completely, they are the reason for big government spending. Until these jack a%%es address that point in their bull crap movement, I'm going to call them out for what they really are (or at least what they seem to resemble). In fact i cannot wait until Sept 12, so we can see the amount of ignorance and unintelligent hypocritical debate these tiny bus riders praise as real American.
Personally they make me sick! I'm sure there are some libertarians that are going along with these people, but I highly doubt in 2012 if Ron Paul ran he would get elected. (which would prove my point, but lets have an honest debate the bulk of the individuals are racists, i do not have any empirical evidence to prove this other than what i have observed. I will bet 100 million dollars my point will be proven in 2012 should Ron Paul run again and not get elected.)
It just sickens me some (maybe most) of these individuals are using small government to hide behind their racism. You have democrats that were going to vote for Hillary because of her Universal Health plan, that have switched parties and are now calling Obama a Socialist? (Anyone can see through that bs and it is not something I'm willing to be a part of. Unlike some of our parents and grandparents.) It is fine to be a limited government person and get upset with the government spending, but when i see the bulk of the individuals are in their 50's and 60's, i cannot help but find it highly and extremely hypocritical. They're blaming the government for programs they refuse to give up and let go!!! If they had any real want for smaller government we'd start to see a reduction in the Social Security benefits paid out, they would have started to demand the removal of such a program, medicare would have been removed, crop subsidies, and the list goes on.
I HAVE YET TO SEE ANY OF THESE REQUEST FROM THE BULK OF THESE new small government people. I have only seen these request from the people that were already (independent) small government long before Obama got into office. They represent a very small portion of these newly found "sleeping giant."
