Complete nonsense. Are you really going to try and tell us that school books in Catholic schools are religion-based? Outside of the book for the subject of religion?
That would be a total fabrication on your part - my girls until just recently have been educated in Catholic Schools - they have the same textbooks in reading, math, science, history, english that the public schools have.
What a load of BS.
Now where in my post did I say I was at a Catholic school?
I said a PRIVATE PAROCHIAL SCHOOL not a CATHOLIC SCHOOL!!
The school book I read from was religion based. It was not a religion book, it was a History book.
If anything you're fabricating because no where in my post did I say I read the book at a Catholic school.
Ummmm no they are NOT free. We pay TAXES for our kids to go there.
TAXES! OMG! Tax supported schools! Don't tell me! And you know, not everybody pays the same amount! How communiist! BTW, they are free at the point of service. No one is turned away b/c they didn't pay enough in taxes.
For all you conservatives who are screaming about Socialism, do your children attend public schools?
yes my daughter attends a public school, but her learning does not stop when the school bell tolls. she also learns again at home with the teachings of my GF and I.
