In other words, it's not "technically" incorrect, it is a lie. Nothing from the White House states that Wilson was correct, and there is a simple reason for that: he was not correct. In claiming that Obama was telling a lie, Wilson lied.

The program has been extended through 2009 and there is currently a bipartisan bill in Congress to make it permanent.

This fact has been posted before, so why are you pretending that you haven't seen it? Tsk, tsk!

Wow, he voted to reimburse hospitals for expenses they are required by law to incur when illegals show up at the emergency room ready to drop their anchor baby.

Are you playing stupid to make a point or do you actually not understand the difference between reimbursing a hospital (funding a legislative mandate) and creating a new program to insure illegals?

The existing law is actually intended to make sure our own uninsured, in the millions and counting, still get emergency care. So basically, in the end, the taxpayers are still footing the bill. So we're going to break it off in these people's ass because there are people coming over the border.

That's fine, we can do without uninsured people anyway, right? I agree. Let's fix this problem we have.

The original furor was not over whether or not Obama lied to the assembled Congress and the American people but over the awful precedent of the POTUS being heckled in such a directly disrespectful manner. Presidents have lied before and will lie again. "Campaign Promises" was not a term coined recently, since Obama took office. We have tapes and transcripts of speeches of past Presidents and how they were received. The interested and objective reader can make their own comparison and decide if Obama's treatment at the hands and mouths of opponents is the same or different than past presidents has been from their detractors.

More than one way to skin a cat.

The present health care reform proposals have few specifics and have shown themselves to be very flexible with respect to their final form. The reason for that is simple. What Democrats are proposing is reform of our health care delivery system in name only. Just like cap and trade and the stimulus package before it, they will be essentially ineffective at producing the results desired so the details don't matter anyway. All three are bait and switch scams designed to give the federal government greater control of our finances.
The premiums, taxes and IRS non-compliance penalties along with forced enrollment will enable the federal government to hi-jack our paychecks in the name of public option while diverting the revenue to Democrat electioneering efforts in the same way the stimulus funds were and cap and trade taxes will. The long wait times for treatment under the sham health care system will further justify greater taxes, premiums and fines.

Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me.

And what the wacko left does not know is he was NOT out of line because this was NOT a called meeting of congress.

They WERE NOT in session at the time so he did NOT violate any rules and regs therefore he cannot be punished. If they do, I hope he sues the crap out of them.

Wacko left wrong again as usual.

Fact: Joe is a hero and Obama is a LIAR.

Damn right he was correct or the loons would not be whining.
