I don't get it. Why is this important to the right or, for that matter, the left? I rarely watch television and never watch talk shows, political or otherwise.

I have this image in my mind of millions of righties sitting in front of their television sets, day after day, chanting 'Go O'Rilley' or 'Beck' or whoever else is telling them how to think. All around them the pizza boxes are piling up, the kids and dog are dirty and unattended to, the grass has grown over the windows, the mail boxes are overflowing......, 'Can't leave the set, might miss something I'm suppose to to know/believe', ' Must.... hate..... Obama.....' .

Forgotten November 2008 already?

We liberals haven't !!!

Our victory party is still going strong, and meanwhile, you Republicans continue to drown your sorrows in front of boob tubes!

Look at the miserable ratings of MSNBC and CNN.

Thanks for the illustration of fools to the thoughtful. Seems just about right. There are always more fools in any society. That is how the rich stay rich. Fooling the fools.

thats where people go wong running ith these numbers. they assume people switch over because they believe what fox says. may be partially true, but entertainment factor is the main reason.
I think your reason for watching O'Reilly is the main reason I don't care to watch him. HGTV has much better entertainment in that time slot so I leave Fox when he comes on.

Let's see... Four million out of a country of 307 million... That means a whopping 1.3% of the country watched Bill O'Reilly.

When I see his ratings translate into votes, then I'll be impressed. In the meantime, I prefer to avoid guys like this...

That's because many conservatives have been brainwashed into believing that everything on Fox News is the gospel truth. More reasonable Americans don't feel so desperate to watch one network.

You don't watch Fox and that is hard to believe since you can't be as well informed as you are without doing that. Did you know about ACORN before Charlie Gibson did?
