In all honesty, I was THERE in lower Manhattan during Sept 11. I lived in NYC many years after that. I really, really know what it's like to live in fear, trust me. It's part of the reason why I left New York. I disagree that people think that it will never happen again. It's that people have so many stresses of everyday life -- like fear of losing your job or having no job, lack of money, etc. -- that turns their focus to other things. Not only that, the country (while not forgetting 9/11) needed to move forward. Time doesn't stand still, and just because people try to keep living doesn't mean they do not give a hoot about 9/11 or national security. Where did Obama 'make light of 3,000 Americans being blown apart'? I'm sorry, I don't focus on everything Obama does like some people, but I don't recall that. What do you really want him to do right now at this very moment to make you think that he cares? Of all the things Obama has so-called doen to lose a person's respect, I don't really understand you. Sorry.
And who cares if he is on Letterman, making jokes. Would you rather see him broadcast gloom and doom every second so that people can complain some more?

He chose to send 21,000 more troops into Afghanistan earlier in the year... As far as sending and additional troops it should be a well thought out calculated decision, seeing if the additional troops sent there earlier in the year had any impact on the situation there.
instead we have a hack that has spent more in 8 months than any president is history

I am appalled that such a person (I will not call him a MAN) could get elected in the United States of America. Why was the FBI and CIA not there to investigate this person in greater depth before he FOOLED so many Americans into voting for him? Obama has somehow managed to keep his nose clean...that is why they can't find anything on him. He has so many ties to Communists/Socialists...Van Jones, Bill Ayers, Thomas Ayers, many more! AND BULLCR*P he didn't know ACORN was receiving all of that gov't money!! What lies, what a con-artist!
