The "thread" was "What Religion Has Killed the Most People". There are very few religions which have not backed government in war and indeed even supplied governments with soldiers by setting up recruitment stations in religious buildings. In today's world, Jehovah's Witnesses and a few other minority religions have actually been banned by governments for refusing to engage in the warfare of the governments they live under...citing Bible scriptures for their stand. For example, during WWII, JW's were in prison in allied countries as well as Axis countries for refusing to be in the military. Today in Greece, Eritrea, South Korea, and other countries they are in prison for precicely the same issue....whereas, other religions from Buddist to Baptist are happily serving their respective countries as soldiers in wars.
