There is a reason why the majority of those who serve do not trust the Democrats and it is a well earned distrust.

A guy you don't like said something you have decided to interpret as less than respectful, hence the Marines deserve no basic courtesy?

Not that I am a Bush fan but the contrast is pretty amazing. Love it. They were polite but obviously not impressed. Obama deserves what he gets even from the marines.

Who cares what the Marines, or any other branch of the Military, thinks? What is this, a Junta? The Military's job is to serve, regardless of who is the POTUS. If one doesn't life that fact, that should of realize that before they've seen a recruiter.

I'll defend Obama to those too silly and ignorant too see the difference in the situations!!

In the segment with Pres.Obama, (not Barry as the op disrespectfully addresses him) the Marines are clearly shown standing at the position of attention.

In this position, no matter the circumstances the Marine does not have the option of independant movement untill given the appropriate command of "at ease",or "fall out".

In Pres.Bush's entrance the Marines are obviously "at ease" or were never called to attention!
They were therefore able to clap, cheer, and take pictures.

No big mystery, stop with the silly non-sense!!

As a former Marine Infantryman, I guarantee you many Marines like myself have a much higher level of respect for Pres.Obama than we ever had for Pres.Bush.

As Marines, the Presidents orders whomever he may be would still be carried out to the best of that Marine's ability.
