Please post the science that supports man made global warming.

You're kidding, right? How much time do we have?

"The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, made up of hundreds of scientists from 113 countries, said that based on new research over the last six years, it is 90 percent certain that human-generated greenhouse gases account for most of the global rise in temperatures over the past half-century. "

So please don't tell me that research by hundreds of scientists isn't "scientific."

Don't wate your time and effort. The OP constantly posts this stuff. As many times as it is explained that there is a difference between weather and gobal warming or climate change, the OP does not get it or accept it. Must be reading comprehension skills or selective hearing impairment.

An international panel of climate scientists said yesterday that there is an overwhelming probability that human activities are warming the planet at a dangerous rate, with consequences that could soon take decades or centuries to reverse.

This is your science ?

That's part of it.

"Probability is a way of expressing knowledge or belief that an event will occur or has occurred. In mathematics the concept has been given an exact meaning in probability theory, that is used extensively in such areas of study as mathematics, statistics, finance, gambling, science, and philosophy to draw conclusions about the likelihood of potential events and the underlying mechanics of complex systems." What scientific body of national or international standing takes a position that contradicts the summary of the IPCC concerning either global warming or the contributions of human activity to it?

Um, none. A few take a neutral position. All the rest endorse the IPCC conclusions.

The theory to which you allude does not infer that all areas of the planet will get warmer and that each and every day will be also be warmer in any given geographical spot.

Maybe they will ask Al Gore to give back his awards and the massive amounts of money he made by scamming stupid people who fell for this only for idiots idea.

And they canceled a major league baseball game for tonight in Denver. Reason - SNOW

Global Freezing is coming, get prepared.

Maybe ObamAcorn will start to see those waters rising like he said they would.

Default What happened to global warming?

It's on the back-burner, for sure these days. But, anyway...

Quote:
This headline may come as a bit of a surprise, so too might that fact that the warmest year recorded globally was not in 2008 or 2007, but in 1998.

But it is true. For the last 11 years we have not observed any increase in global temperatures.

And our climate models did not forecast it, even though man-made carbon dioxide, the gas thought to be responsible for warming our planet, has continued to rise.
And, yes, the amount of CO2 is still rising because there's so many humans on the planet, along with all the warm-blooded animals, too. And of course, when the forests around the world are coming down as fast as the chain-saws can go and the humans using them can continue, the amount of CO2 to be returned to an O2 content will continue to dwindle. I've been wondering why alGore has been so quiet lately.
