(CNN) — Rush Limbaugh says he'd gladly sit down for a conversation with President Obama if the controversial talk-radio host ever scored an invite to the White House.

"Absolutely," Limbaugh, among the president's fiercest critics, told NBC when asked if he'd be willing to speak with Obama. "I'd be honest with him. The President of the United States is the President of the United States. I want this country to succeed, and if he invited me up there to chat, I would owe him up the dignity of being honest."

What, Rush is waiting for an invite to have a beer? I hope he holds his breath.

That's a bit like me saying that I'd "gladly go on a date with Brooke Shields". It's not my decision and she can do better.

Why on earth would any person of color wish to engage in conversation with Rush Limbaugh?

Unless you are Michael Steele and need his endorsement I dont think any other person of color on the planet would care to discuss anything what that racist pig

Why would Rush speak to the idiot?

Rush has been a very successful person in his life, why would be put himself down to Obamas level?

I suppose that all depends on what you call success. To many, if it is just monetary, that's not a measure of a successful life, believe it or not.

I had to come back to this post and ask...what exactly is Obama's level?

Uhhhh..I dunno. Guess that is something you will have to ask Rush.

But Obama is the great Uniter and Communicator. He should make the effort to unit with Rush and Communicate with him.

Why should he? Who the hell is Limbaugh in the scheme of things? Are you officially acknowledging him as the head of the Republican Party?
