May 8 was VE day.I came across some posters of the time period that I wanted to share.
I am not comparing today's wars to that of WW2,it is a different situation yet still there is a lesson to be learned.America united is unbeatable.Every citizen has a duty, and there are different ways of fullfilling that duty, you don't need to wear a uniform.
Would or can America come together like then in industry,in sacrifice both at home and abroad?Would citizens donate?Would victory or death be more than a slogan but a state of mind?Would citizens handle financial hard times such as rationing?
There is noticable split in today's America political wise, immigrant wise, financial wise.Yet we all want enduring liberty, our liberty is our ultimate "safety".Remembering the past ensures we will never loose our way.
