Socialism: most people don't even know what it means, yet they use it anyways.
Right/left: both have become rhetoric, they don't even mean anything.
Bushwacked and Koolaid: clever for the first dozen times either was used, we have now exceeded that amount.
Patriotism: Used to mean something but is now a way of defending any argument by saying the opposition is un-patriotic.

Everyone has noticed the increased use of buzz words which aren't applicable to the topic at hand.
Other words to include
Community Organizer: Do most people even know what a community organizer does?
Fascism and Communism: Often used interchangeably with socialism, indicating most people don't know what they mean
Using the prefix anti-: Anti-life, anti-gun, anti-choice, anti-.... you get the idea
