Socialism: most people don't even know what it means, yet they use it anyways.

Right/left: both have become rhetoric, they don't even mean anything.

Bushwacked and Koolaid: clever for the first dozen times either was used, we have now exceeded that amount.

Patriotism: Used to mean something but is now a way of defending any argument by saying the opposition is un-patriotic.

Any other words you feel have lost their true meanings? This is not intended to slam either political side, so if you are going to do that please start your own thread of stupidity.

Everyone has noticed the increased use of buzz words which aren't applicable to the topic at hand.

Other words to include

Community Organizer: Do most people even know what a community organizer does?
Fascism and Communism: Often used interchangeably with socialism, indicating most people don't know what they mean
Using the prefix anti-: Anti-life, anti-gun, anti-choice, anti-.... you get the idea

Liberal and Conservative... Libs/Cons. People really don't have a clue when they use those terms.

"Race Card". Many Repubs say stop pulling the race card, when they are actually the ones bringing up race in the first place.
