Just going over all the pros and cons of implementing / bringing back, sky high import tariffs.

Each time I weigh them, the pros of bring tariffs back wins every time.

I keep coming back to a second US industrial revolution, putting Americans back to work and money staying and being used and circulated within the US, further strengthening the USA a sovereign nation.

When we put a man on the moon, we had sky high tariffs.
If you look at the stats, the American economy has been in a downward trend, with the PC / micro chip boom as a god send. But look at the big correction, that followed which put us at what we have now.

I agree

1. Repeal NAFTA and its ilk..cafta, and gatt
2. restore/increase import tarrifs TO INCLUDE charging the import tarriff on companies like GE who are headquartered in CT, but everything is made in mexico/malasia.
3. Lower/eliminate the corporate tax. the USA has the 2nd highest corporate tax in the world
4. have states/localities offer bigger breaks on commersial real-estate taxes and electric rates to attract companies.
5. elliminate the income tax, and go with the FAIRTAX.

these 5 things will bring the JOBS back to the USA, eliminate tax fraud, and give the PEOPLE the money to SPEND on american products.
