I thought we got rid of Bush and Co.

Two parties: one agenda. Welcome to politics. There can't be "change we can believe in" because all politicians are inherently the same. Welcome to Bush part 2.

This is disappointing to many people. Not to Cheney, Bush and cronies of course. There is much more operating here than we will ever be privy to. The CIA does not want these abuses made known either. The cover ups run very deep and I do not believe that Obama has the last word on how this plays out.

This is not Bush part 2 because Bush was President, and Obama is . . . . questionable?

Obama pulled the wool over many people's eyes. It was only a couple months ago that I was still pointing out the fact that Obama adopted Bush's stance regarding habeas corpus and people didn't believe me.

Glad to see that some are seeing through his charades.

Or as an alternative theory... the CIA rightly wants to avoid giving terrorists more ammo in their recruitment drives.
Just maybe GWB was right to want to keep some of this stuff under wraps because not doing so will lead to more AMERICANS GETTING KILLED.

You've got to weigh the good with the bad. Sure, we should get it off of our chests, and let the world know what happened.

On the other hand, is it a good idea to light a match in a dark room, when you know its full of TNT?

GWB authorized the tor... I mean the interrogations. I disagreed with them even happening.

However, do I think we should be showing the pictures to everyone, no. Detail in words what happened, but not pictures.

Its like saying "This child died by the hands of a serial killer, and he molested her." Thats bad, and everyone knows it. However, if you were to release pictures, you'd have a lynch mob on your hands.

Words bring thought, pictures bring instinctual responses.
