That particular video is only one of TWENTY FINALISTS in a contest to choose a supporter-made ad to run on national television.
That particular video has NOT BEEN DECLARED THE WINNER at this point.
Therefore, the DNC is NOT USING THIS PARTICULAR VIDEO TO RAISE MONEY. They're using THE CONTEST ITSELF to raise money to air the ultimate winner.
The DNC is attempting to raise funds to air WHICHEVER VIDEO WINS the contest, and so far, that is an unknown.

By the way, not to mention, NO ACTUAL FLAG WAS DESECRATED IN THAT VIDEO.
I think that most understand the video aspect involved,...but for the DNC to use desecration of the symbol of our national heritage for advertising/campaign purposes begs scrutiny.
