It's stories like this that make me realize that there is very little racism going on in this country any more other than certain extreme fringe groups. If there were still as much racism as some would like us to believe, the NAACP would not have the time to comment on issues like this. Groups like the NAACP are now going out of their way looking for non-issues in an attempt to keep the idea of racism alive. The reason is simple. If people begin to realize that there is very little racism in this country any more they would have to come up with a different reason for the disproportionate amount of black failure. That would be far worse than any ridicule they attract for commenting on things like this.

With all due respect, this portion of your sentence sounded very much like something someone would, indeed, read on a message board like stormfront, which we all know, is a white nationalist/supremacist organization. They don't like blacks very much, you see.

The second part of that sentence contradicts the first. What "black failure" are you talking about? Disporportionate compared to what? What's your idea of the "reason"? Simple inferiority?
Oh come now, we're just taking Reelist's comment too personal. He just means that racism doesn't exist at all anymore and it's just in our heads. Any racism nowadays is strictly geared towards the whites. Geez, everyone knows that.

There are just under 3/4 (726,000) of a million CD users. 26 are confirmed racists by your estimation. Even assuming the number is 10X that and you have 260 confirmed racists it's way less than a tenth of a percent. Not much. Your own argument is self defeating.
You pretty much defeated yourself by starting out with an admittedly "tiny" example. If you want to convince me that it's rampant, why not use a really big example?

Just because one disapproves of inter-racial marriages doesn't make them racist. Just means they believe in marrying within their own race.
