You should know that not everyone who thinks homosexuality is abnormal is a christian or religious, the devoutly religious just happen to be the most vocal people who use their religion to support their beliefs.

If you "allow" your child to learn about human sexuality in school to begin with, then you had better be prepared for them to learn about ALL of human sexuality, not just those bits you hand pick.

I taught my 12 year old son about ALL facets of human sexuality and guess what?

He still likes girls.

They do it as early as they can in order to make sure that by the time they're in high school they think that it's perfectly normal to be homosexual.
It is perfectly normal to be a homosexual, if you are a homosexual.

The bare minimum is all a child needs to know about how they arrived on planet earth. Abnormal sexual orientations do not need to be discussed with a child in elementary school.

Children do not need to be taught about homosexuality, children are in school to learn about math, reading, and writing, not homosexuality.
Larry Craig, is that you?

So you're not religious then? Why the issue with homosexuals then? Sadly, most peoples beliefs are shaped by religion, even if they're not religious. Odds are, their parents were, and thy still hold some of those beliefs.

So who's going to use the "God made Adam and Eve, not Adam and Steve" argument? Any takers?

It's normal for some people to carry on complete conversations with themselves also. But I wouldn't call that normal - especially when they answer their own questions. It's time for therapeutic psychological intervention.

Yeah, okay, except my son is in junior high.

You're living in another era if you think that children of that age don't already know much more about sex than just the mechanics behind conception.

Calling it abnormal is incredibly prejudiced. The majority of the population being heterosexual does not make being a homosexual abnormal. Otherwise the following would also be abnormal: boys (majority of population is girls), blue eyes, lefties, redheads, etc.
