Back to the topic at hand here's a question for you, if you make $25K a year and your employer is suddenly saddled with another $3 or $4K in expense to have you as employee do they:

A: Jump for glee that it suddenly got much more expensive to do business.
B: Pay your health insurance and give you that raise you have been expecting.
C: Pay your health insurance and you get no raise and possibly a decrease in pay.

Of course the answer is C, if you're worth $25K a year a government mandate is not going to change that. You're still worth $25K and the employer is going to make it up somewhere.

yea, that's true of companies where the owner makes a decent profit....

but if the small business owner is currently struggling right now as it is, he will likely go out of business if this is passed...

especially if his workers already make near minimum wage.. thus he can't cut costs by decreasing pay..

people who support this type of corporatist HC reform really do not understand economics, incentives, or reality.

Not only freezing wages, that is maybe not the best thing from this bad bill....I'm even more concerned about all the people who will be layed off on top who are already without a job or getting more hours cut...

Since Obama loves the European system, sooner than later he will come up that every person can only have one job...to be fair to others...like in Europe

How long can this person go on and on....
