I am an atheist and have been doing research on Christianity for a school project for the last month.
I have to say that I really enjoy your religion as an atheist and even feel upset myself when I see people who cheapen the name of a great religion.
You have no idea what, if any religion, I practice. But I will clarify that my original remark about being disgusted meant that I am disgusted by the hypocrisy and arrogance of someone claiming to follow Jesus while wishing someone dead.

I just thought so because you said that and it is usually Christians who say these things.
But that sentence is 109.9 NOT 109.8. If they wanted to have the whole psalm listed it would have read 109.1-31.
I think you are projecting your hatred of the right wing into this. Someone found a line that could have political interpretations (let another take office) within a psalm and is using it in a way that was reflective of Bush1:20:09 bumper sticker to make some cash.
You are very generous with your assertion that people who are hopping mad,wrap themselves in the flag and carry the cross are going to just see that ONE line removed from it's context of the entire psalm.
Since Fox News does have a habit of doing such things with quotes of people out of the full context and make 'news' of it, well, then I guess I can see your logic.
But all in all, it is obviously aimed at the cash from the sort of folks that would bury their noses in the psalm in it's entirety.
