WEST WHEATFIELD, Pa., Nov. 18 (UPI) -- Investigators said they were trying to identify the people who lit a cross on the front lawn of a white Pittsburgh-area couple with a black adopted son.
Joe and Mary Walbeck of West Wheatfield told WTAE-TV, Pittsburgh, the family was "hurt" by the cross-burning.
Often these things are stunts by activists or crazy people seeking attention. I don't recall a 'white supremacist' ever being the villian in pranks like this. Find the idiot and be done with it.
There just are no words for these kinds of actions. This makes me sad, and my belief in humanity is shattered, by actions as this one. No reason for this kind of behavior. Who's cares what the color of the boy's skin is. Adopting any child, is a very special deed for any couple to do. And what business is it, other then their own for any one else to react like that, in such a horrid, vicious, mean, uncaring, unpassionate, hateful way. In 2010 you would think that these sort of things would be gone, but i can see from this, they are alive and kicking, really really sad. We should honestly be pass all this stuff by now. How traumatizing for this Poor Family.
