"Witnesses have told authorities that Ellis cut in front of waiting customers at the Walmart in Kennett on Jan. 6, 2007, shoved merchandise already placed on a conveyor belt out of the way, and became belligerent when confronted, according to court filings."

Congress.org - : Letter to Senator Claire McCaskill (D-Missouri): BLACK WOMAN CUTS IN LINE AT WALMART, SHOVES ANOTHER CUSTOMER'S MERCHANDISE ASIDE & GETS BELLIGERANT & VIOLENT WHEN TOLD SHE COULD NOT DO THAT. ATTACKS POLICE & THEN CRIES RACISM, ANYON

My gut feeling and experience in like situations tells me this woman is looking for a 'bailout'.

They do it because it's their "get out of jail" card. Being PC is more important so it's easier to just let them go then face the wrath of the NAACP/Jesse Jackson/Al Sharpton if they happen to want to get on the bandwagon.

I read about it all too much today. At one point in my life I worked with a girl that pulled "the card" all the time. Ended up that most of us avoided her because we didn't want to get into any kind of trouble and then she complained that no one wanted to work with her because of her color.

I had an employee pull that on me also. I kicked her to the curb immediately and never heard boo.

I hate Wal-Mart but I hope they don't settle just to make her go away. That's what she wants. If they have this incident on tape then Wal-Mart should fight it and bankrupt Al Sharpton in the process.
