LULZ,

You are aware that there has been NO evidence presented that acorn registration of fake names resorted in fake votes? (Mickey Mouse never showed up to vote, even though he was registered)

ACORN only had large offices in large states, states that vote democrat in every election anyway, unless you are going to try and claim CA, NY and IL would have gone red in the last election.

At that, How could ACORN steal an election, only to have 65% of Americans support the elected president? Did some people whos vote for McCain change their minds?

Serious, this ACORN crap needs to stop, and reasoned logic needs to step in.

This ACORN "crap" only needs to stop because its such a thorn in your side that ain't going away.
A thug organization.....for thugs who can only get what they want through fraud or force.

And LOOK at WHO has for so long.....been so closely tied with them......

Yeah....someone we all know who sees FOX News and Glenn Beck as the thorn in HIS side......not the chickencrap rest of the media that fears him so much they would rather not report on REAL issues and stick with fluff or only what they feel is good enough info. for us all.
But they just have to cater to all that National Enquirer mentality that makes up such a large segment of Obama supporters and their pathetically low IQ's.

HOW the HELL does every freaking topic in this forum somehow revert back to some idiotic Obama rant???

going BACK to the subject, does anyone here remember the Cinderella TV movie that starred Brandy and Whitney Houston? I believe that was a Disney produced film and all of the main characters were of different races, to the point where it didn't make much sense (ie, the queen, king, and prince were all different races). wouldn't be the first time Disney touched upon interracial relationships (remember Pocahontas? granted, that was based (somewhat...kind of) on history)

as for what the article was actually about, I think it's silly. or at the very least, very simplistic. and it doesn't touch upon one major point: there is still a persistent stereotype about black women. that we're loud, bossy, obnoxious, too sassy, often prone to be overweight, etc. women of various races always have some stereotype attached to them: Asian women are submissive, Latinas are very sexual, and black women are, well, loud. our hair, when it's in its natural state, doesn't often help us (hence why so many black women relax their hair). I've said this in the past, but I'll say it again: black women and Asian men have some of the worst stereotypes stacked against them when it comes to physical attributes and personality.

I don't know any black people that are loudly opposed to this movie. many seemed excited about it. I'm already seeing a lot of little black girls w/ merchandise from the movie and even saw a "Tiana" trick-o-treating during Halloween. I can't think of any major black Disney character, nevertheless a princess, so many are excited

We all just need to step back and say to ourselves, What Would Sarah Do? And then we should just do that.

Life isn't that complicated, people. We have the female Jesus here to guide us - why aren't we listening to her?

Female Jesus! One of my favorite Depeche Mode songs.

Where is all this proof of "election fraud" Why has there been no investigation? Surely the GOP would have conducted an investigation by now right? I mean hell, they organize tea parties, keep claiming Obama was never born in America, and call him a socialist every chance they get. Yet somehow haven't filed a lawsuit over the election, or made a peep about it. Why is that? How could that possibly be? If there was one OUNCE of truth to what you are claiming, they would be all over it like white on rice. But they aren't, because it's unmitigated crap.

I think its stupid to assume there's some kind of race based agenda behind a kids movie and even more stupid to assume people will have a problem with an agenda that doesn't even exist. Pretending there's racism everywhere is whats getting old. Pretend you know what the other guy is thinking and say it for him. That's getting old and dumb.
That being said, I saw a poster for the movie. There's a black princess and a prince guy that actually looked gray brown. I'm not sure what race he was supposed to be but I guess white or black or spanish or native american was in his ancestry. It was just a weird color and the artist didn't make him very life like.
