and, LordBalfor weren't you the one who started a new thread a few months ago proclaiming the unemployment was getting better cuz a weekly report showed less than expected unemployment claims?

However, you were quite silent when week after week reports later showed much higher than expected new unemployment claims.

My point is-------I take your predictions with a grain of salt cuz your track record of predicting isn't the best.
Sure I did - and it will. I was couple of much premature, but it's coming.

My predictions have actually been pretty good. I've been saying since April that the stock market is heading upwards and the recovery is coming - all the while folks like you kept shouting "Bear Market Rally! (Gee, I haven't hear THAT phrase much in a while - you folks finally given up on it.? ). Then of course there was your "Doom and Gloom!", "Collapse of the United States!", "Hoard food and ammo!", "Zimbabwe for the US dollar!".

ALL silly and ignorant predictions on you folk's part.

The reason why it's going down is because they are realizing he is a socialist.

Health Care Reform - Rasmussen Reports™

Quote:
According to the poll, 45 percent support President Barack Obama’s proposals to reform health care, with 53 percent opposed to his plans. This is the first time since the president’s early September prime time address a joint session of Congress on health care that a majority of people questioned in a CNN survey oppose Obama’s proposals.

“Six in ten independents say they oppose Obama’s health care proposals,” says Holland. “That’s a nine point increase since October.”

More people now generally oppose the health care reform proposals in Congress (47%) than favor them (34%).
Health Policy

Poll after poll show the same thing. People are opposed to the bills in congress, i.e., obamacare.

The reason why Obama's poll numbers are declining is because most of his supporters hopes were very high when he first entered office, & they thought he was going to fix everything at the snap of a finger.

A point that Obama made from the very start was that this bad economy & recession, which Bush left behind, was going to take some time & patience to clean up with some disappointments during the process.

A decline in a president's approval rating during the first year of a term seems to be a normal thing.

This is because most citizens are hype in the beginning & let their wishful thinking take over true reality.
Once reality set's in, people begin to whine & point fingers at the president because all of their wishes are not fullfilled in the beginning.

Ah...no, although the Left would like to think so. They need to put some kind of spin on it.

He is bleeding independents at an alarming rate, due to his massive government expansion and intrusion and of course, massive taxes to pay for all that.

FYI, Reagan is dead, let it go...breathe. Obama is our President, and I for one am glad he is nothing like Reagan!

But Sanrene, Independents don't like your side either because you spend like Democrats, as Bush jr proved. So, they are between a rock and a hard place come election time.

That's it, that's all you have? C'mon, certainly even YOU have an independent thought that hasn't been said ad nauseum by all the right wing propoganda.
