. . . on their shoulders, of course.

Quote:
RNC members draft new ’socialist’ resolution

. . .

Jim Bopp, Jr., an RNC committee member from Indiana and the chief sponsor of the resolution, said the goal of the resolution is to "re-establish the party's conservative bona fides."

"This would establish standards for candidates and hold them accountable to RNC's conservative platform," he told CNN. "We are open to diverse views, but you do have to agree with us most of the time."

. . .

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Republican National Committee identifies ten (10) key public policy positions for the 2010 election cycle, which the Republican National Committee expects its public officials and candidates to support:

. . .

RESOLVED, that a candidate who disagrees with three or more of the above stated public policy positions of the Republican National Committee, as identified by the voting record, public statements and/or signed questionnaire of the candidate, shall not be eligible for financial support and endorsement by the Republican National Committee.
Way to go, Republicans! Keep stripping your party bare, it's a great way not to win elections!

And for the life of me, I don't know how these hypocritical jerks can make their very first key position be, "We support smaller government, smaller national debt, lower deficits and lower taxes by opposing bills like Obama's "stimulus" bill", with a straight face! After the last 8 years of the largest growth of government in our nation's history, along with creating the highest deficit we've ever had, it's shocking and utterly galling that they still think they can get away with this kind of blatantly false claim! Outrageous!

And that's not even touching on the fact that these freaks clearly don't even know what socialism is! I simply cannot wait for them to self-implode.

You have to love it. They oppose the taxpayer's money going for things that would help the taxpayer like health care. They want a smaller budget and less government. But they want all war all the time. They want us to remain in Iraq and Afghanastan indefinately and they want to expand U.S. control to Iran and North Korea. So basically they want to use tax money for nation building. Their idea of smaller budget and smaller government is strange indeed.
