Did you bother to read the article?
What is the relevance of this?

No more freedom of religion I guess, and if you have anyone in your family who was ever Muslim you are unfit to be an American. I hope I don't have one 2,000 years back or I am completely screwed...hopefully Roy has none either.
I don't have any Muslims hanging in my family tree and surely not from 2000 years ago since Mohammed made his first trip to Mecca in 622 AD. Look at what that says about you and your knowledge about Islam.

Why does this matter? It doesn't, at least for most Americans, her beliefs are her right. Has the lady ever denied being a Muslim, not that I ever heard. With so many real issues to discuss we get this non-issue to ponder, no thanks, time is too valuable to waste another second on this sort of childish subject.

If your complaint was really with the AP for getting it wrong, you would have given your thread a different title.

Did you fail to see this sentence strung out there all by itself in a one line paragraph? I guess you did since this is from that March 5, 2008 article in USAToday.

In the world of today, children have different religions from their parents," she said. She, too, is a Christian.

That does say that she is Christian, doesn't it. Why would she be going on a Hajj if she were Christian?

Oh, if you had not noticed no one cares if she is a Muslim, it is her right to believe as she sees fit, thankfully some people will never get their way and the practice will continue.

Hey, old boy, have you read any of this thread from the beginning. I was told to read one article, I did so and found these words that seem to imply that the old lady was a Christian in the spring of 2005. From an article in USAToday that took its source from AP we find these words about her. March 5, 2008 while the Dem primary was raging USA Today said, In the world of today, children have different religions from their parents," she said. She, too, is a Christian.

I guess she changed religions in about 18 months and is making her obligatory Hajj. Darn it, I wonder if she did a change like that?

Do you not understand what "no quotes or attribution" means? Where did they get that information? Who told them that? Who said what? Nothing but that sentence. Now, if the sentence was "She said she was a Christian" we could talk. But the AFP article says something entirely different and provides the actual comment and the name of the source. Considering she's going to Mecca, I think there is a good case for the AP (that is the AP article posted on the USA Today site) being wrong and the AFP being right -- she is and always was a Muslim.

Hope you got the message --- WHO CARES??
It seems that many people here care quite a bit since most didn't read the original link I threw in to explain. There we find the fact that the AP said in March, 2008 that the woman was a Christian. Later I was linked to an article in USA Today that said that she was a Christian. Now lying like that in the MSM is very relevant. You do remember what was going on about that time don't you. Hillary Clinton does and she should have called them on that.

I am wondering if not caring about Muslim like so many left leaners seem to think they do is aimed at someday surrendering our nation to them.
