In Germany the homosexuality laws were not upheld until Hitler took over.
So, yes it was still illegal in Germany but nobody thought it was a real problem until Hitler took over and then he planned to exterminate the homosexuals within Germany. I heard it was about 10,000 gay Germans but the rest of Nazi dominated Europe was a little less psycho about it. Can anyone clarify this?

According to Gallup and Pew polls, about half of America believes that homosexuality is immoral. It's not hard at all to imagine a majority of voters in some states voting to make homosexuality illegal again.

One part of the new law states that, not only does it apply to all acts of homosexuality in Uganda itself, whether committed by a foreigner or a citizen BUT the law also applies to ALL citizens of Uganda no matter WHERE they reside in the world. The law says they shall be EXTRADITED to Uganda to face a possible death sentence. So if 2 homosexuals have a rump romp here in the USA and one of them is from Uganda and the government of Uganda request we extradite that homosexual to face possible death, should the United States honour that request?

This is appalling! I, as a conservative Christian, do NOT advocate for these types of laws. I sincerely doubt that other Conservative Christians would agree that this is not right.

Muslims may kill someone for being gay but I do not believe anyone who calls themselves a Christian would.

Christ taught them to love each other. Not kill each other.
Exactly!

I don't know of any Christians, even those who border on the extreme fringe (and I know a few who are a bit wacky IMO) who would advocate this. Even those I know who are vehemently opposed to homosexuality do not believe in "killing gays". The only religious faction I can think of who would support something like this would be Muslims (and yes, I've known some Muslims who said things like this should be done; I've never heard a Christian say so).
