I've missed quite a few debates on this website over the last three weeks, so i want get myself back involved. I have a few questions for those on the board.
1. What is your definition of freedom (and how would you describe a free human being, what limitations would be placed upon a free human being?)
2. Labels - Who do you believe benefits from falsely categorizing individuals in to various different labels (if it those in control who reap the most benefit or is it designed so that those labeled and those in control both reap a benefit in the conquer and divide strategy?)
3. Why isn't life fair? (It's often said Life is not Fair, what constitutes a fair life for a free human being???)
4. Do we have a "true two party system" or do we have one party, that is like a bunch of well rehearsed actors. pretending to be at odds with each other, but friends behind closed doors? (Is it an illusion or a fact that we have a two party system?)
Just some food for thought you well thought out answers to these questions are appreciated.....
Very interested in hearing how individuals define freedom in their own words (this is very subjective...one serf maybe believe something slightly different than other etc)
Wow, i was hoping someone would take on the intellectual challenge of answering my questions. There really are no right or wrong answers, because i am much more interested in how you perceive the meaning of certain words and questions and why you feel the way you do.
Any takers? Not looking for a battle of wits just seeking a better understanding of other human beings
I'll look to discuss maybe after work if I have time ... until then, I will stay amused at the shameless self-promoting in the thread title lol.
