It's interesting, though, how many ACLU folks feel the same way about Christian symbols in the U.S.

Oooh, watch out! Crucifix! Baby Jesus at Christmas time! Gotta hide em! Might turn our kids into wingnuts!

Guess some ideas are just too dangerous for us freedom-loving Murricans...
Keep your religion off of government property and out of our laws, there wouldn't be any troubles.

Understandable, perhaps, but highly undesirable, IMHO.

Same with Nazi symbols in Germany.

As soon as free speech is stifled, the doors are open to stifle free speech even more.

This has nothing to do with "free speech". About 60 Million people got killed in WW2. It is prohibited because it's considered incitement of the people/sedition in Germany. Why should someone be allowed to praise this mass murdered?
I do not think it's "highly undesirable" at all. I find it very concering that we allow that kind of hate speech. Just gotta love it, don't you think? I read a while ago that there are more hate groups now than ever. There's no room for hate in a society. Don't have to tell you about the KKK, do I.

All the more reason to reestablish and reenforce our secular government.

Allowing government to fund Christian schools opens the door to funding ALL aprochial schools, even Muslim.

NYC will not fund Catholic schools but it opened a muslim school in 2007. So really funding muslim schools opened the dorr for funding muslim schools. Catholics or christians had nothing to do with it.

Free Speech in no way, shape, or form translates to "speech only you agree with".

One of the burdens of Free Speech is putting up with haters and ignorant people, and people you just don't agree with.

Links please.

I've a feeling you are referencing an Arabic school, not a Muslim school.
