Copenhagen climate summit in disarray after 'Danish text' leak | Environment | guardian.co.uk

Quote:
The UN Copenhagen climate talks are in disarray today after developing countries reacted furiously to leaked documents that show world leaders will next week be asked to sign an agreement that hands more power to rich countries and sidelines the UN's role in all future climate change negotiations.

The so-called Danish text, a secret draft agreement worked on by a group of individuals known as "the circle of commitment" – but understood to include the UK, US and Denmark – has only been shown to a handful of countries since it was finalised this week.

The "circle of commitment", huh?

Wow, this just couldn't get any better.

First the IPCC Head starting off the conference railing on the emails and now this.

Deemed a "dangerous" document and a fundamental "reworking" of UN obligations, without seeing the light of day by ALL the other countries - is there any surprise that obama is in the thick of it?

Look people, these guys want a "fix" like they wanted a "fix" for tobacco.

These people know that "Climate Change" is cash cow and they plan on milking it for everything they can get.

They dont want a fix because they really know there is no fix. But they do want the cash they can get from this drummed up issue.

What??

Does this mean the UN is not going to be in charge of giving free taxpayer, climate debt money to tyrants like Mugabe?

Very interesting. I read it and see that it becomes effective immediately upon signature.
No subsequent ratification by countries. So if Obama signs this then effectively he has acted on behalf of the US and Congress can do nothing.

Yeah..it does look like the UN is being pushed out for a board of their own.
And developed countries commit to $10 billion per year to a fund and the developing countries are held on a tight leash if they want any of that money.

Interesting read..the Copenhagen papers are only 13 pages long and are much easier to read than any of our US bills on Congress. It does appear that this new board will yield some power over countries.

Maybe NWO really isn't all tinfoil folks. Do it bit by bit and it will go unnoticed by the masses.

Wow, you see a conspiracy theory behind every corner, don't you, and Obama is in the thick of every single one of them. Of course the conference is in disarray over the setback just as those who leaked the e-mails intended. But they won't be derailed in the long run. Too many scientists from too many countries over too many years have been studying global warming for all their conclusions to be discredited and disappear.

Unless I'm missing something Obama wasn't mentioned in your linked article.

Obama was mentioned, try reading it again. So much for repairing America's image around the world, this just ruined America's and BO's reputation. The world knows for sure now that BO is nothing more than a snake oil salesman.

BTW, AGW is a fraud, open your eyes and employ critical thinking.

It's not so much that the emails are damning, as they are. Rather, the fortran coding that was also uploaded and revealed is the most damning information. The programming was designed to "fix" the raw data to their desired outcome. This is then the data from which the "hockey stick" model was derived, which means, the whole theory is bunk becasue it's based on deception at its core.
