Heard on the radio today while driving - another host touting gold - Goldline, to be exact. He MUST be getting a kickback, of course. It can't be that he's simply presenting a sales pitch for an advertiser that paid for it. Maybe he's in partnership with Beck.
You're not really processing this concept, are you? Hosts advertise all sorts of products all day as commercials.
They do not, however, deceive their viewers by promoting gold and irrational fear (which raises the price of gold)
I can't believe this teleprompter issue. I guess these people were never really engaged in politics before. If they were, they would have realized all presidents use teleprompters on a very regular basis.

People in the know who follow current domestic and global events, who are informed on a wide range of subjects, know that the uncertainty is very real and not "irrational". Those who think it is irrational will sit back and wonder later why they didn't try to preserve their assets. It's called smart planning: assess the situation and do what you think is right for you and your family.
You're the one that seems to have trouble processing this. Gold was "in" long, long before our current economic crisis. Those who got in saw what loomed on the horizon. I was in the investment industry, and saw it coming long before I started watching Glenn.
