"The study reviewed records of 537303 children born in Denmark between January 1991 and December 1998, representing almost 100% of children born in that period. Of these children 440655 had been vaccinated."
That's OK, better two of us post that than no-one.
check these out Zimbochick www.rense.com/general37/moreproof.htm and vactruth.com/2010/10/02/do-vaccines-cause-autism. I have some more in deapth sites `ll post shortly on vaccines and autism
With regard to the first link, the study that "proved" a link between Type 1 diabetes and Hemophilus influenza type b (Hib), hepatitis B, and pneumococcus vaccines, numerous studies have subsequently been undertaken looking for the link, but the results demonstrated in the first study could never be reproduced. Sorry, one study does not make it a fact, no matter how much the likes of Mercola say it's so.
I apologize for not reading all 23 pages (and don't know if this has been discussed yet), but here's an interesting article from the Huffington Post for those who keep citing the Danish study:
A central figure behind the Center for Disease Control's (CDC) claims disputing the link between vaccines and autism and other neurological disorders has disappeared after officials discovered massive fraud involving the theft of millions in taxpayer dollars. Danish police are investigating Dr. Poul Thorsen, who has vanished along with almost $2 million that he had supposedly spent on research.

Robert F. Kennedy Jr. who authored that piece is an antivaccine activist in the extreme. He is the guerilla terrorist of anti-vaxers. I would hardly call his piece subjective at all. And as a small aside, the conspiracy theory aspect about Dr. Poul Thorsen was debunked a few days before Kennedy's article was published. Very shoddy journalism on Kennedy's part. Thorsen did not steal any money, he did not make up stats, and he remains a well-respected member of the medical community.

From your cited source: "When thimerosal is marked with an asterisk (and all instances were - Suzy_Q) it indicates that the product should be considered equivalent to thimerosal - free products. This vaccine may contain trace amounts of mercury (< 0.3 mcg) of mercury left after post production thimerosal removal, but these amounts have no biological effects."
To be fair, this is methylmercury, not ethylmercury, but you do believe ALL mercury is toxic, do you not? So the entire world should stop eating fish, right?
I'm sure the islanders would all be free from desease, as their immune systems would not be damadged from all the preservatives and toxic substances found in vaccines.
We do have records from before modern medicine, you know. Ancient people described a condition called "lockjaw" - this is what a patient with lockjaw looks like:
That look comfortable? Because that's the natural way for a human body to react to infection with Clostridium tetani. That's how it's been since we started keeping records. That is, until some smart people figured out how to make tetanus vaccines, which prepare our oh-so-pristine immune systems for running into the bacterium.
Oh, and people still die from tetanus in the 3rd world. If you have access to modern medicine, the mortality rate is about 1 patient in 9, with long-term effects on the survivors. (1 in 9 is bad, mkay?) You can give your body a fighting chance by letting your immune system's memory cells encounter an inactivated version of tetanus toxin before you encounter the full-blown version in the wild.
Microorganisms are mean, merciless SOBs, fine-tuned to circumvent our defenses through millions of years of evolution. You feeling that your immune system is uncompromised by thimerosal will not stop them.

the study done by the Danes on autism did not use unvaccinated children compared to vaxed ,All the children were vaxed, just some without mercury.
Two studies, for heaven's sake.
One compared the incidence rate of autism between children who had received MMR vaccine and those who hadn't.
They shouls try a comparrison with completely unvaxed children to vaxed, then you'd see an absolute difference.
It's been done, first link above. No correlation.

It's not just the mercury, but the aluminum, the formaldyhide and a whole load of other neurologically harmfull ingrediants in vaccines that make them dangerous.
It's fascinating - I've never encountered a more slippery hypothesis. "It's mercury - or aluminum, or formaldehyde or - well, anything we can make sound scary."
OK, so thimerosal has been removed from vaccines in a number of countries. Has the rate of autism dropped? No. That kills the hypothesis, OK? Think of something new.
